Jamie Kripke is a multidisciplinary artist and designer. His work for the past three decades has included photography, creative direction, video production, printmaking, and product design. His art is inspired by the time he spends exploring remote alpine landscapes on skis, by bike, and on foot. His vibrant, graphic pieces range from small, one-of-a-kind, handmade Japanese woodblock prints to large format, limited edition photo illustrations printed on rag paper or aluminum panel. In the literal sense, Kripke’s works act as windows into beautiful landscapes. Conceptually, they are another kind of window into our deep, hardwired connection to the natural world.
