How long does an eyebrow lamination last?

An eyebrow lamination will last about 6 weeks (again, depending on aftercare). Be sure to follow the “Don’ts” mentioned above in the first 24 hours following your treatment for longevity. In the 48 hours following your treatment, you can apply a hydrating balm or a castor oil to your brows daily. We also recommend brushing your brows in an upright/styled position anytime following a shower (or after getting your brows wet) to help keep their new shape.

Why can't I get my brows wet after lamination?

Similar to a lash lift, keeping your brows dry in the 24 hours following your lamination treatment is very important. During the lamination process, we use an assortment of creams as well as a permanent gel to relax and shape your brows. If you get your eyebrows wet too soon after we finish applying these products, your brows do not have a chance to set with their new shape.

How should I prep for my appointment?

Prior to your brow lamination appointment, we recommend the following: Avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs on your face for one to two weeks before your brow lamination Avoid tweezing at least one week prior to your appointment (if you’re interested, we do offer the option to add on a brow wax to your lamination appointment) Please come to your appointment without any makeup on your face

How long should I wait before working out post-wax?

We recommend waiting 24 hours before engaging in physical activities that would cause excessive sweating.

How often should I wax?

A typical hair growth cycle is 4 weeks. Routine waxing will ensure your hair growth cycle slows down, allowing you to maintain your results over a longer period of time with the potential to push service out up to 6 weeks.

Will waxing make my hair grow back thicker/stronger/darker?

Absolutely not! The more you wax, the less dense your hair grows back. Regular routine promotes the hair follicle to grow back finer, weaker and less pigmented.

What does it feel like?

You’ll probably feel a momentary heat sensation or pinch. Discomfort is minimal for most people, but individual tolerances vary greatly. Keep in mind that some areas of the body are much less sensitive than others. Many people read, listen to music or even take a nap while being treated.
